Sales conditions for Stekle AS

Introduction: These conditions apply to the sale of goods from Stekle AS to consumers. The sale is regulated by this agreement together with relevant Norwegian legislation that ensures the consumer's rights. These terms and conditions have been designed in accordance with recommendations from the Consumer Ombudsman and are intended to create a clear understanding of the parties' rights and obligations.

1. The agreement The agreement consists of information provided in the online shop, correspondence between the parties and these sales conditions. In the event of a conflict between sources of information, priority is given to direct correspondence and information provided in the online store.

Buyer is the person who completes the order.

3. Prices All prices include VAT. The total cost of the purchase will be clear before the final order and include all costs associated with the purchase.

4. Conclusion of the agreement The agreement is binding when the order has been received by the seller. Errors in offers/records do not result in a binding agreement if there was an obvious error.

5. Order confirmation Immediately after receiving an order, an order confirmation is sent to the buyer, who should check that the order matches the order confirmation.

6. Payment The seller can demand payment when the goods are sent from the seller to the buyer. Special payment terms can be agreed upon if necessary.

7. Delivery Delivery takes place in the manner, place and time agreed in the order. Standard delivery time is within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.

8. The risk for the goods The risk for the goods passes to the buyer when he or she, or a representative, has taken over the goods.

9. Right of withdrawal The buyer has the right of withdrawal for 14 days after receiving the goods in accordance with the Act on the right of withdrawal.

10. Duty to inspect The buyer must inspect the item on receipt to uncover any deviations or defects.

11. Complaints and delay In the event of a shortage or delay, the buyer must inform the seller within a reasonable time to assert his rights.

12. Rights in the event of delay The buyer can withhold the purchase price, demand fulfillment, cancel the purchase and/or demand compensation in the event of a delay.

13. Rights in the event of defects The buyer can demand correction, redelivery, price reduction, withdrawal and/or compensation in the event of defects.

14. The seller's rights in the event of default In the event of payment default, the seller can demand fulfillment, cancel the purchase, demand interest/collection fees and possibly compensation.

15. Guarantee Any guarantees give the buyer rights in addition to what follows from the law and do not limit the statutory complaint rights.

16. Personal data Processing of personal data will take place in accordance with current data protection legislation. The buyer's personal data will only be used and stored for as long as is necessary to carry out the agreement.

17. CONFLICT RESOLUTION The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. The buyer can contact the Consumer Council to get assistance in any dispute with the seller. If an amicable solution is not reached after mediation in the Consumer Council, the parties can request in writing that the Consumer Council refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Committee.13 Decisions of the Consumer Disputes Committee are legally binding four weeks after notification. Before the decision is legally binding, the parties can, by submitting a summons to the Consumer Disputes Committee, bring the decision before the district court.
